Bacon Brussels Sprouts
Let’s face it—(almost) everybody loves bacon. It makes everything better, including an often polarizing dish of Brussels sprouts. Whether you love or hate them, you’ll have to give our bacon Brussels sprouts recipe a shot.
This recipe is quick, easy to make, and absolutely delicious. If you haven’t already tried our Simply Hot Pepper Bacon Jam, it’ll surely become a kitchen staple. Simply Hot Pepper Bacon Jam has just the right amount of spice with roasted red pepper puree, jalapeño peppers, and real bacon.
Bacon Brussels Sprouts
Now it’s time to get cooking! Here’s what you need to make our soon-to-be famous Hot Pepper Bacon Jam Brussels Sprouts.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ black pepper
- 1 jar Hickory Farms Simply Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves
- Mix Brussel sprouts in a bowl with the olive oil, salt, and pepper
- Pour Brussels sprouts on a sheet pan and roast for 35 to 40 minutes (sprouts should be crisp on the outside and tender on the inside)
- Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly
- Remove from the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle them with a layer of Simply Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
- Serve and enjoy
